Ayer en la mañana, en el marco de las VI olimpiadas deportivas del Colegio Ignacio Robledo, el joven Mateo Jaramillo, de 15 años, guardó sus fuerzas para rematar la carrera de los doscientos metros planos pero llegó de último. “Me equivoqué, yo pensé que esta carrera era la de los mil metros, pero no, era la cortica”, declaró el estudiante de noveno grado de bachillerato. Según informó Bernardo Acevedo, profesor de Educación Física y principal organizador del evento, Jaramillo tiene problemas de “concentración y atención”: “Muy claramente dije por el megáfono que empezábamos con la carrera de los doscientos metros y después hacíamos la de mil, que son seis vueltas a la cancha”, contó el docente, quien luego dijo que mientras daba la información para las competencias, el afectado “se dedicó a charlar con sus compañeros”. “La carrera empezó y todo el mundo arrancó con toda la velocidad menos Jaramillo que salió trotando”, relató Daniel Loaiza, compañero de Mateo. A-Pin conoció que cuando Jaramillo comenzó a acelerar el paso, dos de los competidores ya habían cruzado la meta.

Proper meat temperature before cooking? Too many variables. You wind up with medium rare in the very middle and god knows what else throughout the rest of the steak. Sous Vide; can’t over cook. perfectly medium rare and a little sear with some clarified butter in my mineral pan to finish it off. goooood! Did I win?

I had a co-worker who used their french press at work and I thought it was so silly to go to all that effort…until I tasted the horrible coffee that came from the flavia machine…then I understood why he brought in his french press!
